Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Selah, operated by Busy Bee Ventures LLC. By accessing or using Selah, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Account Registration
To use Selah, you must create an account by providing accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Selah.
- You may register using an email and password or through Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during registration.
Content Disclaimer
Selah provides Bible verse recommendations and spiritual guidance based on your conversations. Please understand the following:
- Content is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or medical advice.
- Selah is a spiritual companion tool and should not replace professional mental health services.
- Responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete.

Subscriptions & Billing
Free Tier
All users have access to a free tier that includes:
- 5 guided conversation messages per day
- World English Bible (WEB) translation
- Up to 10 saved verses in your Sanctuary
Premium Subscription
Selah Premium unlocks unlimited access to all features, including unlimited messages, all Bible translations, and unlimited saved verses.
- Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe at $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page within the app.
- Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase via the in-app refund feature or by contacting us.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription or any charge made in error. Refund requests can be processed directly in the app under Settings > Subscription Management > Request Refund. Eligible refunds are processed automatically and appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties or fees. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to premium features until then. You can re-subscribe at any time.
User Conduct
When using Selah’s social features, including friends, messaging, and group discussions, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect and kindness.
- Not use the platform to harass, bully, or intimidate others.
- Not share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.
- Not attempt to exploit, hack, or misuse the application or its services.
- Not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
Intellectual Property
The Selah application, including its design, code, and original content, is the intellectual property of Busy Bee Ventures LLC and is protected by applicable laws.
The WEB (World English Bible) translation is in the public domain and may be freely used and shared.
Other Bible translations available through Selah may be subject to their own copyright and licensing terms.
Account Termination & Data Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion:
- Your account and personal data will be permanently removed from our servers.
- Any active Premium subscription will be cancelled.
- Locally stored data on your device (such as chat history) will remain until you uninstall the app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
Disclaimers
Selah is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Busy Bee Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Selah, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you through the app. Continued use of Selah after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within the United States.
